Papia Debroy

Papia Debroy is a Nonresident Senior Fellow at The Brookings Institution since September 2022 and has held multiple leadership roles at Opportunity@Work since July 2015, including Senior Vice President of Research and Insight, VP of Research and Insights, and Director. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Research and Associate Director of Quantitative Research at CEB from April 2011 to June 2015 and as a Consultant at The Brookings Institution from July 2007 to March 2009. Papia Debroy began a career in academia as a Graduate Student Instructor at the University of Michigan from August 2005 to May 2007 and as a Research Assistant at the New America Foundation from December 2003 to August 2004. Papia Debroy earned a B.A. in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley, and both a Ph.D. and M.A. in Political Science from the University of Michigan.
