Nils Jacobsen

Nils Jacobsen is a Design Engineer at Opral, focusing on improving inlang.com through design, communication, and infrastructure while developing shared components for the ecosystem since March 2023. Prior experience includes roles as a UX Designer at Interaktionswerk, where Nils created UI/UX concepts for global clients, and as a UX Engineer at Fraunhofer IPA, specializing in the development of laboratory electronics for biology sector automation. Nils also completed a Bachelor Thesis at Daimler AG, centered on design and prototyping tooling, and worked as a Creative Engineer for both Daimler AG and Mercedes-Benz Research & Development North America, contributing to user experience and advanced engineering projects. Nils holds a Bachelor's degree in Interaction Design from Hochschule für Gestaltung Schwäbisch Gmünd and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University, complemented by education in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering.
