Carl Heller

Carl Heller has over 25 years of work experience in various software development and management roles. Carl is currently the Vice President at Opsis Health since January 2022. Before that, Carl worked as a Senior Application Developer at Wawanesa Insurance from January 2020 to January 2022. From 2016 to 2020, they served as a Senior Software Architect at VieCure. Prior to that, Carl held several roles at Varian Medical Systems, including Senior Software Developer, Senior Reports Writer/Analyst, Manager of DB Migrations, and Software Architect. Carl also worked as the Owner of Nybbles n Bytes Computer Consulting Inc. from July 2013 to February 2016. Carl started their career as a Software Developer at OpTx Corporation in 1995 and held various roles including Project Tech/Integration Analyst and Cooperative Education Student.

Carl Heller earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Manitoba, where they attended from 1993 to 1998. Carl later pursued further education at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where they obtained a Master's Degree in Computer Science from 2014 to 2020. Additionally, Carl obtained certifications from Microsoft, including a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer in 2001 and a Microsoft Certified Database Administrator in 2000. Furthermore, they completed a NanoDegree in Data Analyst from Udacity between 2015 and 2016.
