Andrei Sferdian has a solid background in software engineering, with experience in various roles and responsibilities. Andrei started their career at Continental Automotive Romania SRL in 2014, where they worked as a Software Engineer. Their main responsibilities involved developing and maintaining middleware device drivers for a software platform, as well as writing module specifications for generating software solutions. In 2017, they joined Ness Digital Engineering as a Software Engineer, working as a consultant for Autoliv. In this role, they contributed to the development of vehicle vision and night vision cameras, with a focus on software platform maintenance and interaction with automotive application protocols. Lastly, in 2019, they joined OPSWAT as a Senior Software Engineer. Andrei later transitioned into the role of Technical Team Lead and is currently employed as a Staff Software Engineer. At OPSWAT, Andrei works on a storage solution that integrates with third-party identity providers to facilitate secure file storage and sharing. Their responsibilities include feature development, providing technical guidance and mentorship, leading software architecture design and implementation, and acting as a liaison between the technical team and other departments.
Andrei Sferdian obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the West University of Timisoara, where they studied from 2010 to 2013. Prior to their university education, Andrei earned their High School Diploma in Mathematics and Computer Science from Elena Ghiba Birta National College, which they completed from 2004 to 2008. Additionally, Andrei obtained a certification in Machine Learning from Coursera in April 2021.
