Austin Hoang

Austin Hoang has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. In 2020, they served as a Machine Learning Intern at ST Engineering, where they analyzed various object detection datasets for autonomous vehicles and explored state-of-the-art algorithms. Austin also supported researchers in conducting sensor data collection and developed strategies to enhance object detection and classification using different sensors.

In 2022, Hoang joined SeaMoney as an Associate, Production Support, where they worked until October before transitioning to ASMPT Ltd as a Software Engineer. In this role, they contributed to software development projects.

Most recently, in 2023, Hoang joined OPSWAT as an Associate Software Engineer, where they currently hold a position.

Austin Hoang completed their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Engineering Science with a specialization in Computational Robotics at the National University of Singapore from 2018 to 2022. Austin also pursued a minor in Computer Science during this period. Prior to that, from 2016 to 2017, Austin attended St Andrew's Junior College, where they completed their Singapore-Cambridge GCE Advance Level program. In this program, they studied H2 Physics, H2 Chemistry, H2 Mathematics, H1 English Literatural, H1 Project Work, and H1 General Paper.
