Gokmen Kose

Gokmen Kose has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Gokmen began their career as a Management Information System Analyst at Kuwait Finance House in 2010. After a year, they transitioned to work as a Technology & Cybersecurity Correspondent for Meydan Newspaper. Gokmen held this position for four years, from July 2012 to June 2016. In 2017, Kose joined Thinbold as a Business IT Analyst and worked there until December 2020. Following this, they worked at CyberNow as a SOC Analyst from November 2021 to April 2023. Currently, Kose is employed at OPSWAT as a Security Analyst, starting in February 2023.

Gokmen Kose obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Istanbul University, where they studied from 2005 to 2009. In terms of additional certifications, they completed the Master SQL for Data Science course from Udemy in February 2020. Gokmen also attained multiple certifications from various institutions, including OPSWAT Academy, OPSWAT, Armis, CompTIA, Google, IBM, Qualys, and Fortinet. The certifications obtained range from cybersecurity and network security to email security and endpoint compliance. The certifications were acquired between 2020 and 2023, with the most recent being the MetaAccess Professional certification from OPSWAT Academy in August 2023.
