Raul Raveica

Raul Raveica has worked in various roles and positions throughout their career. Raul started as a Technical Support specialist at Atos in 2015, where they were responsible for server and database administration, troubleshooting, and managing backup jobs.

In 2016, Raul transitioned to the role of Deployment Engineer at Atos, where they were responsible for deploying end-to-end backup solutions using EMC Avamar and EMC Data Domain technologies. Raul also worked closely with clients to understand their needs and design the backup environment accordingly. Raul integrated the backup solutions with network design, ticketing systems, monitoring and reporting tools, and various environments such as VMWare, Windows Servers, Linux Servers, MSSQL databases, and Oracle databases.

From 2019 to 2020, Raul worked as a Backup & Storage Engineer at Stefanini, where they focused on backup and storage infrastructure. Raul managed and administered EMC Networker, EMC Avamar, HP Data Protector, and other backup technologies, including client-side troubleshooting, server-side fine-tuning, and patching. Raul also gained experience with EMC Data Protection Advisor, EMC Data Domain, and HP StoreOnce.

In 2020, Raul joined NTT DATA Romania as a DevOps Engineer, where they continued to work on improving software development and operational efficiency. Later in the same year, they transitioned to the role of DevOps / Cloud Engineer at OPSWAT.

Throughout their career, Raul has demonstrated expertise in backup technologies, server and database administration, troubleshooting, and integration with various systems and environments. Raul has also been involved in training new colleagues and documenting procedures for daily operations.

Raul Raveica has a strong educational background in computer science. Raul attended the Universitatea Politehnica din Timișoara, where they studied computer science. Raul then pursued a Bachelor's degree in computer science at the West University of Timisoara. Additionally, Raul Raveica attended the "Grigore Moisil" High School in Timisoara, where they focused on mathematics and computer science.

In terms of certifications, Raul Raveica obtained several notable certifications. Raul became an AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate from Amazon Web Services in June 2020. In January 2019, they obtained the Dell EMC Avamar Specialist certification from Dell EMC. Prior to that, in March 2018, they acquired the Dell EMC Networker Specialist certification. In October 2017, Raul Raveica earned the Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) certification from Red Hat. Raul also holds the Dell EMC Data Protection and Management Associate certification, which they obtained in September 2017.
