Rejo Thomas

Rejo Thomas has extensive experience in the field of software testing and quality assurance. Rejo started their career at Stargate Group in 2004, where they held the position of STA. Rejo then moved on to Genix Ventures Pty Ltd in 2008, where they served as a QA & Test Lead until 2010.

Following this, Rejo joined National Australia Bank in 2010 as a Test Analyst, initially on a three-month contract which was extended multiple times. Rejo was responsible for system testing an in-house Loan Origination and Processing system, as well as assisting with the UAT phase.

In 2012, Rejo joined KIT digital, Inc (formerly Hyro) to work on their proprietary Identity and Access Management system. Rejo was involved in test planning, estimating, and implementing comprehensive test strategies.

Next, Rejo joined Veda in 2013 as a Senior Test Analyst. Rejo'smain responsibilities included system testing the organization's incremental implementations of the Decision Point Studio product. Rejo worked within an agile environment, following a three-week sprint cycle.

From 2014 to 2017, Rejo worked at COMPUTING DIRECTIONS AUSTRALIA PTY. LTD. (Synergetic Management Systems) as a Senior Test Analyst. Rejo focused on setting up test processes, implementing best practices, and transitioning to a cross-functional agile methodology.

Rejo then joined Links Modular Solutions in 2017 as a QA Test Lead. Rejo'srole included setting up a test competency and testing capability, evaluating QA processes, and implementing best practices. Rejo worked across various platforms and projects.

In 2020, Rejo joined Kaplan Australia as a Project Test Manager. Rejo led testing for a core technology replacement project, involving the migration to an integrated AWS Cloud. Rejo'sresponsibilities included creating a test strategy, planning functional testing, and overseeing QA aspects throughout the project.

Currently, Rejo is working as a Business Analyst at Opteon Solutions. Rejo was hired to assist with the organization's technology System replacement project. Rejo'srole involves reviewing and analyzing project requirements, providing technical analysis, validating solution designs, and supporting implementation.

Throughout their career, Rejo has gained experience in various industries, including property services, education, and software development. Rejo has a strong background in test planning, strategy development, and implementing quality assurance processes.

Rejo Thomas completed their Master of Information Technology [M.I.T] degree in the field of Information Technology at Swinburne University of Technology, which they attended from 2003 to 2004. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications including the Agile Expert Certificate of Proficiency from AxisAgile in October 2017, the ISTQB Certified Tester [CT-FL] from ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board in 2016, and the Certified Scrum Master [C.S.M] from Scrum Alliance. Rejo also holds the Certified Software Test Professional certification from the International Institute for Software Testing.
