Kimiaka-Chantal Guerard

Dr. Mika Guérard has 10 years of research experience related to medicinal chemistry and drug development. Her main focus has been the development of synthetic routes to obtain bioactive compounds for use in multiple therapeutic indications including depression, cancer, respiratory diseases, bacterial infection, cardiovascular diseases, obesity and cystic fibrosis. Her work has been published in several research articles and has been presented at numerous international conferences. Mika also holds an MBA from l’École des sciences de la gestion (Montréal) and spent 4 years on the syndication desk of Abaxbank, an Italian commercial bank. Prior to joining BioMotiv, Mika was a medicinal chemist at Zamboni chemical solutions, working on programs for Amgen and Vertex pharmaceuticals.
