Frances Gilbert has a diverse background in athletic training. Frances is currently working as the Head Athletic Trainer for the Savannah Bananas at Optim Orthopedics, starting in February 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Head Athletic Trainer for the Houston Dash from February 2019 to December 2022. Frances also gained experience as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at the University of North Georgia from August 2015 to February 2019, at Tennessee Wesleyan College from August 2014 to August 2015, and as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at Georgia Southern University from July 2012 to May 2014. Frances began their career as an Athletic Training Student at North Georgia College & State University from August 2008 to May 2012.
Frances Gilbert has a strong educational background in athletic training. Frances obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Athletic Training from the University of North Georgia, where they attended from 2008 to 2012. Frances has pursued additional certifications to expand their expertise beyond dry needling as well. Frances Gilbert obtained the "Personalized Blood Flow Restriction" certification from Owens Recovery Science, Inc in June 2018. Frances also became certified in the Graston Technique through Graston Technique® in July 2013. Additionally, they completed the "Kinesiotape M1 & M2" course offered by the Kinesio Taping Association in July 2013.
