James Marchand currently serves as the Regional Manager of Maintenance and Capital Assets for Central and Southern Alberta at Optima Living, a position held since January 2024. Prior experience includes a role as Service Manager at Nedlaw Group for the entirety of 2023, where resignation was necessary due to relocation. James has also worked as a Project Manager at LJ BARTON Mechanical Inc. from September 2021 to January 2023, and as a Building Automation Engineering Tech at Convergint Technologies from October 2012 to October 2021. Additionally, James worked as an Automation Engineer at Siemens Building Automation from June 2004 to September 2012, beginning as a co-op student. Educational background includes a degree in Electrical Engineering Technology with a focus on Power Systems from Niagara College, completed between 2001 and 2004.
