Angie Torres

Great River Regional Director & Board Member at Optimae LifeServices, Inc.

Angie Torres serves as Optimae LIfeServices regional director for the company’s Great River region, bringing more than 30 years of experience in health care and human services to the position. She oversees programs for individuals with mental illness and intellectual disabilities.

Torres joined Optimae in 1997 as a service coordinator and also worked as a program director before taking on her current role. Prior to Optimae, Torres held positions at River Center for Mental Health, Hope Haven Area Development Center, Cedar Falls Lutheran Home and Alverno Nursing Home.

Torres earned a Teacher’s Association degree in handicapped services from Kirkwood Community College and completed 60 hours of nurse’s aide training through Alverno Health Care. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in elementary education from the University of Northern Iowa.
