Kent Davis

Kent Davis has a diverse work experience that includes roles in communications, public relations, and teaching. Kent started their career as a Language Arts Teacher at Washington High School before transitioning to Mt. Pleasant Community High School, where they taught Language Arts/English and coached the speech team. Kent also served as a Journalism Adviser. Kent then moved on to work at CDS Global as a Communications Specialist, where they handled corporate communications materials and newsletters. Kent later joined Iowa State University, where they held positions as a Communications Specialist for the College of Human Sciences and Campus Housing & Dining. Currently, Kent is the Communications & Public Relations Director at Optimae LifeServices, Inc., where they direct internal and external communications, marketing, and public relations.

Kent Davis completed their Associate in Arts (AA) at Waldorf University from 1993 to 1995. Kent then pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in English at Luther College from 1995 to 1997. In 2001, Kent participated in Journalism Workshops at the University of Iowa. Additionally, in 2005, they completed an Adobe Camp program at Great River Area Education Agency. Kent Davis also holds a Standard Education License from the State of Iowa Board of Educational Examiners, obtained in 1997.
