Chad Davis

Chad Davis has extensive work experience in the field of industrial design. Chad currently works at Optimal Design as the Industrial Design Manager, leading and mentoring a team in developing visually appealing designs and user experiences. Prior to this, Chad worked at Newell Brands as a Design Manager, overseeing projects within the Contigo, Bubba, Rubbermaid, and Coleman portfolio, and also served as the Lead Industrial Designer. Chad also has experience working at IDEO as an Industrial Design Expert in Residency, Motorola as a Design Lead for Wearables, IA Collaborative as a Senior Industrial Designer, Insight Product Development as a Senior Industrial Designer, and Hasbro as a Design Intern. Additionally, Chad has taught as a part-time faculty member at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where they co-taught a course and provided demonstrations and guidance to students.

Chad Davis completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Industrial Design at the University of Cincinnati from 1994 to 2001.
