Demand Generation at Optimal Workshop

Chris Vanderkolk has a diverse work experience history. Chris started their career in 2009 as a Sales Representative at LEGO Group, where they handled account management, wholesale sales, and partner marketing. Following that, they worked as a Ski Instructor at Cardrona Alpine Resort from 2011 to 2012. Chris then joined Icebreaker as an Account Manager, responsible for sales forecasting, range planning, product training, retail sales analysis, and relationship management. In 2015, Chris joined Xero as a Marketing Manager for the Partner Channel in New Zealand, where they led campaign planning, execution, and reporting, as well as managed major event planning. After working at Xero for three years, they moved to Figured as the Head of Marketing, leading their marketing strategy and managing a marketing partnership with Xero. Chris then joined Marsello, initially as the Partnerships Manager for APAC, where they managed relationships with integration partners and led partnership marketing initiatives. Chris later took on the role of Head of Demand Generation, where they focused on generating top-of-funnel demand through partnerships and direct/digital marketing. Currently, Chris is working at Optimal Workshop in the role of Demand Generation.

Chris Vanderkolk earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Marketing and Commercial Law from Victoria University of Wellington, from 2006 to 2008. Before that, from 2001 to 2005, they attended Palmerston North Boys High School and completed NCEA L1-L3, without specifying a field of study.
