Douglas House has an extensive and diverse work experience. Douglas currently serves as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Optimist Youth Homes and Family Services. Douglas House continued to enhance their professional credentials by obtaining the Professional in Human Resources California (PHR-CA) certification in November 2016, which is specific to California labor laws. In April 2018, they obtained the CSRM - Certified School Risk Manager certification from The National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research. Most recently, in November 2019, they completed the SHRM - Veterans at Work Certification program offered by SHRM, demonstrating their knowledge and skills in supporting veterans in the workplace.
