Rachael Olson has a diverse range of work experience. In 2011, they began their career as an Administrative Assistant at Michigan Avenue Internists, where they worked until 2014. During this time, Rachael developed a new workflow for prior-authorization protocols and collected and prepared clinical data for statistical analysis.
In 2014, Rachael joined Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago. Rachael held various roles within the organization, including Clinical Research Assistant, Clinical Research Coordinator I (Cariology), and Clinical Research Coordinator II (Cardiology). In these positions, they contributed to the development of data collection templates, managed collaboration with internal processing labs, and oversaw the recruitment and consent of study participants.
From 2019 to 2022, Rachael served as the Director of Patient Services at Michigan Avenue Internists. Rachael successfully transitioned and onboarded over 750 patients to a concierge model, facilitated appointments and referrals with external departments and specialists, and obtained medical imaging and medication insurance authorizations.
Currently, Rachael works at Optimize Health as a Clinical Operations Associate. Rachael started in May 2022 and is responsible for various clinical operations tasks. In June 2023, they will transition into the role of Clinical Operations Manager.
