David Tolnai

David Tolnai is an accomplished actuary with extensive experience in the insurance and reinsurance sectors. Currently serving as the AVP Pricing Actuary at Optimum Life Reinsurance since April 2023, David has held significant positions including VP Actuary at Knighthead Annuity & Life Assurance Company and AVP Pricing Actuary at Gen Re. Prior to these roles, David was the Director of Underwriting at BMO Reinsurance and an Associate Actuary at Manulife Financial. David's academic background includes a Bachelor of Mathematics degree in Actuarial Science and Statistics from the University of Waterloo, obtained between 2004 and 2009.
