Arthur Boschet is an experienced AI Research Scientist currently at Optina Diagnostics since January 2024. Prior to this role, Arthur served as a Research Assistant at Polytechnique Montréal, contributing to the NeuroPoly lab's efforts in enhancing AxonDeepSeg software for nerve fiber microscopy data. As a Computer Vision Research Intern at Optina Diagnostics, Arthur focused on generating synthetic hyper-spectral retinal images for Alzheimer's disease prediction and optimizing image generation pipelines. Additionally, Arthur interned at Quantmetry, developing real-time software for a smart surgical drain, where a Kalman-filter algorithm achieved a 5% error margin in fluid measurement. Teaching Assistant experience at McGill University involved assisting in multiple mathematics courses, while an internship at Veolia France saw Arthur create a MATLAB model for optimizing biotechnology processes. Arthur is pursuing dual Master’s degrees in Machine Learning from Mila - Quebec Artificial Intelligence Institute and Artificial Intelligence from Université de Montréal, building on a Bachelor’s degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from McGill University.
