Angela Franklin is a dedicated professional with substantial experience in behavioral health and community support. Currently serving as an Older Adult Behavioral Health Specialist and Suicide Prevention Coordinator for Josephine County at Options for Southern Oregon since January 2022, Angela also holds the role of Death Midwife at Journey Home Support Services since October 2018. Additionally, Angela co-founded IV FOLK Remedy, a community-based collective, from August 2019 to June 2022. Previous roles include volunteering at Asante Hospice and coordinating events at Spiral Living Center, a non-profit focused on sustainable living education. Options for Southern Oregon, Inc. is an Oregon non-profit, 501(c)(3) corporation based in Grants Pass since 1981. Options serves as the Community Mental Health Program for Josephine County and provides additional services, such as our Integrated Primary Medical Care program - Hillside Medical - for all members of the community. Mission Statement: Options for Southern Oregon serves people of all ages in our community who have mental health needs. Our holistic approach addresses housing, advocacy, community integration, crisis intervention, therapy, co-occurring issues, education, work, and economic well-being. We foster the development of mental and emotional health in children, adults, and families, and support our clients’ participation as respected members of the community.
