Steve Formica

Steve Formica is the current CEO at OptioSurgical. Prior to this, they were the Vice President Of Professional Services at Iron Mountain from October 2014 to June 2021. In this role, they were responsible for all services revenue for a $350 million global digital solutions business as well as $30 million P&L responsibility for a SaaS legal information service business. Steve has also held diverse roles including VP Strategy and M&A.

Before their time at Iron Mountain, Steve Formica was with IBM from January 2005 to December 2006 as a Senior Manager Business Consulting in IBM's Global Business Services Division, Financial Institutions Group, Operational Risk Management Consulting.

In February 2009, Steve Formica founded Fontis International, Inc., which was acquired by Iron Mountain in 2014. Fontis International was an industry first SaaS legal information service for Information Governance.

From April 2002 to February 2005, Steve Formica was the Managing Member of Fontis LLC. And from March 2000 to March 2002, they were the Managing Director, Chief Operating Officer Technology and Operations at Tucker Anthony Sutro.

Steve Formica has a BSc in Economics and Business from Questrom School of Business, Boston University, and an MBA in Finance and Information Systems from University of Rochester - Simon Business School.
