Omar Seleim

Omar Seleim is currently a Compliance Officer at Optiver since September 2023. Prior to this role, Omar worked as an Associate Risk Analyst and subsequently as a Risk Analyst specializing in Market Surveillance and AML at flatexDEGIRO from November 2020 to August 2023. Additional experience includes a brief tenure in Risk and Finance Operations at PVH Corp. in early 2020, Commercial Finance Analyst at NetApp, and a role as Business Consultant at TNO focused on AI and digital media. Omar has also held positions in student leadership at the University of Amsterdam, including Chair of Public Relations and Communication taskforce and Social Mentor, along with entrepreneurial experience through a startup project at the Erasmus Centre for Entrepreneurship. Omar holds a degree in Economics and Business from the University of Amsterdam, completed between 2016 and 2020.
