Anthony Griffin has held several positions in the tech industry. Anthony began their career in 2013 as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where they pioneered breakthrough work incorporating novel electronic systems into autonomous materials and composites. In 2014, they were appointed Senior Director of EntreCORPS, where they oversaw the selection, training, and transition of new student directors and projects directors. Anthony also served as Director of Project Management, co-directing EntreCORPS and overseeing the organization's operation, expansion activities, client selection, and structure. In 2015, they were a National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate Fellow, independently proposing a research initiative to be carried out during their PhD studies. In 2019, they joined Optivolt as Director of Product, leading company-wide strategy and execution for a wide array of integrated solar, energy storage, and power electronic hardware products. Anthony also served as Product Manager and Senior Research Engineer and Research and Development Engineer.
Anthony Griffin completed their Bachelor of Science in Materials Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign between 2009 and 2013. Anthony then went on to receive their Master of Science in Materials Engineering from the same university between 2013 and 2015. Finally, they earned their Doctor of Philosophy in Materials Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2019.
