Maja Petek

Maja Petek has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Maja started their career as a Sales Assistant at Mladinska knjiga Trgovina d.o.o., where they gained valuable customer service and purchasing skills. Maja then transitioned into the field of translation at LEEMETA, where they worked as a Translator, specializing in marketing and advertising texts. Maja also took on the role of SEO Specialist & Content Manager, where they optimized online publications and wrote blog posts aimed at business clients. Currently, Maja is working at Optiweb as an SEO Specialist. Maja is responsible for optimizing the company's online presence. In addition, they are also a Guest Lecturer at the University of Maribor, Faculty of Organizational Sciences, starting in 2022. Maja's experience reflects their expertise in translation, SEO, and content management.

Maja Petek completed their Master of Science in English Language and Literature at The University of Edinburgh from 2018 to 2019. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Arts in Language Interpretation and Translation at Karl-Franzens-Universität Graz from 2011 to 2018.
