Uroš Soukup

Uroš Soukup has extensive work experience in the field of IT. Uroš is currently working as a Web Development Team Lead at Optiweb since December 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Head of IT service and support at Microgramm d.o.o. from July 2019 to December 2021. In this role, they managed a team of nine, delegated work, supervised the team's activities, conducted meetings, managed conflicts, and organized work in the Maribor unit. Uroš was also responsible for implementing larger projects and ensuring smooth operations.

Before joining Microgramm d.o.o, Uroš worked at TCPOS as an IT Project & Roll-out Manager from August 2018 to July 2019. Uroš collaborated with project teams on major projects, conducted user requirements analysis, defined software development specifications, coordinated project participants, and conducted workshops and presentations.

Uroš started their career at Microgramm d.o.o. in March 2012 as an IT Specialist and held various responsibilities during their tenure. Uroš expanded the Maribor team, acted as a mentor for two coworkers, coordinated work between the Maribor office and the headquarters in Ljubljana, and provided proposals for improvements and innovations. Additionally, Uroš was responsible for client support with Microgramm POS systems for the North-East region of Slovenia and Hotel Management Systems for the entire country. Uroš worked closely with the development team to provide solutions and implement desired changes in the IT infrastructure and software.

Uroš Soukup obtained their Diploma in Management of lifelong learning from DOBA Business School between 2013 and 2018. Prior to that, they attended the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Maribor from 2005 to 2010, where they also pursued a degree in Computer Science. Uroš completed their high school education in Computer Science at Srednja elektro-računalniška šola Maribor from 2001 to 2005.
