Rene Gamero

Rene Gamero has a diverse work experience in various companies. Rene has recently joined Opto 22 as an IoT Executive in July 2021. Prior to that, Rene worked as a Regional Director - Environmental at Various Companies from July 2012 to June 2021. Rene has also worked at United Rentals Inc. as an Area Manager from June 2011 to May 2014, where they achieved remarkable revenue growth, opened international sales channels, and exceeded revenue goals by penetrating strategic customers and projects. Rene also has a long tenure at Opto 22, where they served as the Director of Business Development, Energy & Industrial Automation from an unknown start date to January 2010.

Rene Gamero obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering with a focus on Economics from Harvey Mudd College, from the years 1995 to 1999. In addition to their formal education, Rene holds two additional certifications. In July 2021, they obtained the Ignition 8.1 Credential from Inductive Automation. In April 2014, they received the Competent Communicator certification from Toastmasters International.
