Liisa Nyblom

Project Manager at Optofidelity

Liisa Nyblom has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Liisa started their career as a Research Scientist at VTT, where they conducted environmental tests for space and consumer electronics. Liisa then moved to Patria, where they worked as a Thermal Engineer, responsible for thermal performance in satellite programs. Following that, they joined Nokia and held various roles including Thermal Engineer, R&D Project Manager, and System Integration Project Manager, leading teams and delivering successful products. Liisa later worked at Microsoft as a Thermal Engineer and R&D Project Manager, contributing to product design and user comfort studies. Liisa then joined CoreHW as a Senior Designer before transitioning to Huawei Technologies as a Consultant in Thermal Engineering, leading projects and coordinating research efforts. Most recently, they worked at Etteplan as a Senior Project Manager, overseeing customer HW/SW projects and delivering embedded and IoT solutions. Currently, they are working as a Project Manager at OPTOFIDELITY.

Liisa Nyblom began their education in 1987 at Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan, where they obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Space Electronics in 1992. In 1997, they attended the International Space University for a brief period, completing the SSP97 program, although the field of study is unspecified. Later, in 2011, they enrolled at the University of Tampere 1925-2018 and earned a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Education in 2018.

To further enhance their qualifications, they pursued a pedagogical qualification for teachers at Tampere University of Applied Sciences from 2017 to 2019, obtaining the AmO - Teacher's Pedagogical Qualification. Additionally, in 2018, they received certification as a Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) from the Scrum Alliance.

Recently, they have been studying Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering at Tampere University of Applied Sciences, starting in 2020 and expected to complete it in 2021. However, the specific degree name for this program is not provided.
