Jason Kriesel

Jason Kriesel has a diverse work experience in the field of photonics and sensor technology. Jason started their career as an NRC Post-doc at the National Institute of Standards and Technology in 2000, where they worked until 2002. Later, in 2002, they joined Opto-Knowledge Systems, Inc. as a Lead Scientist, specializing in the development of sensor technology for various applications. Jason became the program manager for Mid-IR spectroscopy technology development during their time at Opto-Knowledge Systems, Inc. In 2020, Jason Kriesel became the President of Guiding Photonics.

Jason Kriesel has a PhD in Physics from UC San Diego.
