Adam Erskine

Adam Erskine has a strong background in software engineering and testing. Adam started their career at EA Technology as a Research Scientist, where they conducted research on electromagnetic fields and developed software for monitoring overvoltages in the electricity network. Adam then worked at Shiva as a Quality Engineer, ensuring the quality of networking hardware and software. Adam later joined the National Museums of Scotland as the Head of IT, where they were responsible for IT services and managed a small team. Adam then transitioned to Optos, initially as a Senior Software Test Engineer, verifying product software releases and building production line test software. Currently, Adam holds the position of Senior Software Engineer at Optos, utilizing their expertise in embedded software development. In parallel to their work experience, they pursued a Ph.D. at the University of Edinburgh focused on swarm intelligence and swarm robotics. Overall, Adam Erskine has a diverse range of experience in software engineering, testing, and IT management.

Adam Erskine has a comprehensive education history. Adam completed their Bachelor of Science Honors with a focus on Physics at the University of St Andrews from 1983 to 1987. Later, they pursued further education and obtained a Bachelor of Science Open degree in Informatics from The Open University between the years 2007 and 2010. To enhance their knowledge in the field of Artificial Intelligence, they pursued a Master of Science degree at The University of Edinburgh from 2010 to 2011.
