Brian Laffoley

Brian Laffoley has extensive work experience in various engineering roles. Brian began their career as a Research Engineer at Pilkington in 1984. Brian then moved to IBM in 1990, where they worked as a Development Engineer for eight years. After their time at IBM, they joined STMicroelectronics as a Hardware / Apps Engineer until 2009. During this time, they also worked at Aircraft Medical Ltd as a Development Engineer from 2009 to 2015. Laffoley then worked at Medtronic as a Principal Engineer from 2015 to 2018. Currently, they hold the position of Principal Engineer at Optos, starting in August 2018.

Brian Laffoley attended Hautlieu School from 1978 to 1982. Brian then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at The University of Sheffield from 1980 to 1984.
