Naohide Hayashi has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Starting in 1992, they worked at OKI Data Systems as an Engineer, where they played a crucial role in the Serial Impact Dot Matrix Printer Development Project. Naohide designed firmware and created Test Program Suites for the evaluation process.
Moving to OKI Europe Ltd in 1994, Hayashi worked as a Senior Engineer, managing local engineers to provide technical support for the EMEA technical community in Printer Firmware. Naohide also assisted the European Sales team in launching new dealerships in Bulgaria, Belarus, and Baltic countries.
In 1997, Hayashi joined OKI Data Systems again, this time as an Assistant Manager. Naohide took on the responsibility of managing and developing Windows Printer Drivers as a Project Leader. Naohide also developed Test programs on Win16/32 for efficient test and evaluation.
From 2000 to 2013, Hayashi worked at OKI UK Ltd. as a Project Manager (Technical Specialist). Here, they coached and mentored Tier 2 and 3 support team members in EMEA countries, resolving customers' problems and inquiries rapidly. Naohide also facilitated accurate communication between development teams in Japanese headquarters and the Tier 3 support team. Additionally, Hayashi planned, designed, and delivered technical training events for the Tier 1 and 2 EMEA technical community and customers.
Finally, since 2014, Hayashi has been employed at Optos as a Senior Software Engineer. Naohide serves as the Product Owner of an Agile team responsible for developing the hardware control layer of embedded software for retinal imaging devices. Naohide also plays an active role as a member of the Software Architectural Team. Furthermore, Hayashi designs and implements embedded software and support tools for retinal imaging devices, using languages such as C#, C++, and Java on Windows/Linux platforms.
Naohide Hayashi completed their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computation Theory, Automaton, Compiler, RDBMS, Public Key Encryption, and Algorithm from Tokyo Denki University in 1990. Naohide then pursued a Master of Engineering degree in Graph Theory and Computation Theory from the same university, graduating in 1992.
