Richard Eastwood

Richard Eastwood has a diverse work experience in the fields of software engineering, systems engineering, and research. Richard started their career at Heriot-Watt University as a Postdoctoral Research Associate from December 2005 to August 2007. Richard then joined Lockheed Martin UK Insys Ltd as a Systems Engineer Senior from October 2011 to April 2012. Richard later joined Optos as a Software Engineer in July 2012, where they worked on object-oriented design, algorithm design, and implementation using languages such as C#, .NET, and Python.

Richard Eastwood obtained a Bachelor's degree in Physics with Medical Technology from the University of Hull from 1995 to 1998. Richard later pursued a PhD in Applied Mathematics, specializing in Control and Modelling Theory, at the same university from 1999 to 2009.
