Kenny Cheng, CFA, FRM, MMA has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Kenny is currently serving as the Director of Investment Operations at OPTrust since January 2020. Prior to this, they held various roles within OPTrust including Senior Manager of Performance Measurement and Analytics from 2018 to 2020, Manager of Performance Measurement and Analytics from 2015 to 2018, Senior Financial Analyst in the Private Markets Group from 2012 to 2015, and Risk Analyst from 2010 to 2012.

Before joining OPTrust, Kenny worked as an Associate at Towers Watson from March 2008 to November 2010. Kenny started their professional journey at State Street as a Supervisor of Investment Accounting from October 2006 to November 2007, and later worked as a Risk Analyst from November 2007 to March 2008.

Throughout their career, Kenny has accumulated a wealth of experience in investment operations, performance measurement and analytics, financial analysis, and risk assessment.

Kenny Cheng, CFA, FRM, MMA pursued their education at the Smith School of Business at Queen's University from 2018 to 2019, where they obtained a Master of Management Analytic. Prior to that, they attended the University of Toronto between 2000 and 2005, earning a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree. During their undergraduate studies, they specialized in Commerce and Finance, with a major in Computer Science and a minor in Economics.
