Jay April

Jay April has had varied work experience in different organizations. Jay started their career as Vice President at EG&G Technical Services in 1986 and stayed there until 1991. Jay then moved to EG&G/Antarctic Support Associates and worked as CIO from 1996 to 2000. Following this, they joined OptTek Systems, Inc. as Chief Development Officer and retired from the role. Currently, they work as a Lecturer at the University of Colorado Denver since 2015.

Jay April earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) and Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Philosophy and Aeronautical Engineering, respectively, from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Jay completed high school at Austin High and obtained their high school diploma in 1960. Later, Jay pursued a Ph.D. at the University of Colorado Boulder - Leeds School of Business, specializing in Economics and Operations Research, which they earned in 1972.
