Jamie Loiz

Jamie Loiz is a Senior Manager in Architecture and IT Security at Optum, with a focus on leading a distributed team in the transition and maintenance of security platforms since September 2016. Jamie has successfully developed a new logging pipeline in the AWS cloud utilizing Terraform, S3 containers, Lambda functions, and Kinesis services to enhance log delivery to SIEM. Prior to this role, Jamie served as an IT Security Consultant at UnitedHealth Group, where responsibilities included overseeing ArcSight administrative functions and managing a team of nine engineers. Jamie's earlier career includes various positions in IT, such as business analyst and senior technical analyst. Jamie holds an Associate degree in Mechanical Design from Northcentral Technical College.
