Justin Rickerson

Justin Rickerson has a diverse work experience. Justin started as a Pro Shop Staff at Black Bear Golf Club in 2020, where they were responsible for sales, meeting customer needs, and organizing tournaments. In the same year, they also worked as a Caddie at Peachtree Golf Club, providing caddying services and offering advice to golfers.

In 2018, Justin worked at Oglethorpe University in two roles. Firstly, as an Assistant to the Director of Golf, they assisted in planning and organizing NCAA Golf Events, performing statistical analysis, and managing practice and travel logistics for the golf team. Secondly, they were involved in day-to-day operations for the basketball program, including online statistics, scorebook recording, and gameday production.

Currently, they are working as a Product Analyst Intern at Optym since 2022. In this role, they utilize their data analysis, critical thinking, and scripting skills to solve complex problems for customers in the LTL industry. Justin primarily focuses on optimizing load and driver schedules using the DriverPlan and HaulPlan products.

Overall, Justin's experience spans across various sectors, demonstrating their adaptability and analytical abilities.

Justin Rickerson attended Eustis High School from 2015 to 2018, where they achieved the status of High School Valedictorian. Justin then pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Physics/Engineering Dual Degree from Oglethorpe University from 2018 to 2021. Currently, Justin is studying Industrial Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology and is expected to complete their Bachelor's Degree in 2023.
