Katharina Sommer

Katharina Sommer is an experienced music professional currently serving as an Assistant Artist Manager at Opus 3 Artists since September 2022. Previous roles include project management positions at Stiftung Niedersachsen and Musikfest Erzgebirge, where Katharina contributed to the International Joseph Joachim Violin Competition and the Erzgebirge Music Festival, respectively. Additional experience encompasses concert management at various festivals, including the Niedersächsischen Musiktage and Heidelberger Frühling, where Katharina demonstrated skills in crisis management during the pandemic. Holding a Master of Arts in Applied Musicology from Justus Liebig University Giessen and a Bachelor of Arts in Arts, Music, and Media from The Philipp University of Marburg, Katharina has a solid academic foundation complementing practical experience gained through diverse roles in the music industry.
