Peter Ginsberg, CFA

Peter Ginsberg, CFA has over 20 years of experience in the field. Peter currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Foundation Fighting Blindness, a position they have held since November 2020. Prior to that, Peter co-founded Opus Genetics in January 2021.

From 2018 to 2020, Peter worked as the Vice President of Business Development at Savara Inc. Peter also held the same role at BioDelivery Sciences International Inc from 2016 to 2017.

Before that, Peter worked at United Therapeutics Corporation as the Associate Vice President of Business Development from 2015 to 2016. Peter served as the Vice President of Business and Technology Development at NCBiotech from 2010 to 2015.

Peter has also held positions at PGC as President from 2008 to 2010, SurModics as Vice President of Business Development and Strategic Planning from 2006 to 2008, Deephaven Capital as Head of Healthcare Portfolio from 2003 to 2006, and Piper Jaffray as Managing Director and Senior Biotechnology Analyst from 1997 to 2003.

Peter Ginsberg, CFA obtained an AB degree in Economics from Princeton University. Peter then pursued higher education at The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. In terms of certifications, Peter obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation from the CFA Institute in 1994. Additionally, they completed the Bell Leadership Institute's Achievers program in June 2022.
