Stefan Franz

Stefan Franz is an experienced engineer specializing in optical measurement technology and precision engineering. Currently serving as Entwicklungsingenieur and inventor at OQmented since November 2021, Stefan continues to drive innovation in light management. Previously, Stefan worked at JENOPTIK AG from May 2005 to November 2021 as an Entwicklungsingenieur, focusing on system architecture and the development of optical and precision-engineering systems, including UV optics, IR objectives, and optical testing devices. Prior to that, Stefan contributed to the development of optical measurement systems at Robert Bosch Venture Capital GmbH from February 2002 to January 2005. Stefan holds a Doctorate in Optical Measurement Technology from the University of Stuttgart and a Diplom-Ingenieur in Precision Engineering from Friedrich Schiller University Jena.
