Dan Cameron has a long and varied work experience in the art world. Dan began their career in 1995 as Senior Curator at the New Museum of Contemporary Art. In 2001, they became an Advisor for the Artist Pension Trust. From 2007 to present, they have held several positions, including Director of Visual Arts at both the Contemporary Arts Center, New Orleans and the Contemporary Arts Center, Director of the U.S. Biennial, and Chief Curator at the Orange County Museum of Art.
Dan Cameron attended Bennington College from 1976 to 1979, where they earned a B.A. in Art, Philosophy, and Literature.
