Jeff Williamson

Jeff Williamson, PhD, currently serves as the Director for Orange County Government, a position held since December 2018, following a role as Manager. Prior to this, Jeff Williamson was the Public Information Officer/Spokesman at the Orange County Sheriff's Office in Orlando, Florida, from November 2006 to December 2018, gaining experience in crisis management, public relations, social media, and media relations. Jeff Williamson began their career in journalism as a reporter for WVLT-TV from June 1999 to May 2005. Educational credentials include a PhD in Sociology from the University of Central Florida (2015), an M.A. in Speech Communications from New York University (1996), and a B.S. in Business Administration from Oakwood University (1985).
