Daniel Mattos is an experienced culinary arts educator with a strong background in curriculum development and program management. Currently serving as the Chef Director at the Orange County School of the Arts since 2011, Daniel has focused on crafting a comprehensive culinary arts program for high school students. Prior to this role, Daniel spent eight years at the Art Institutes of Orange County, ascending from Chef Instructor to Chef Director, where oversight of multiple programs led to a significant increase in student enrollment. Daniel's career began at the Natural Gourmet Institute in New York City, providing education in health-supportive vegetarian cooking. Daniel holds a Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts and Foodservice Entrepreneurship from Johnson & Wales University.
