Workforce Readiness Program Manager at Orange County United Way

Paulina Raygoza, M.A., currently serves as the Director of the UCI SOAR Center, an initiative focused on enhancing college access and retention for historically underrepresented communities. With extensive experience in nonprofit organizations, Paulina is also the Workforce Readiness Program Manager at Orange County United Way, where efforts have included leading a work-based learning initiative. Previous positions include Education Program Associate at the United Way of Greater Los Angeles, where contributions aimed to increase high school graduation rates, and Student Affairs Officer at UC Irvine, overseeing a core curriculum course. Paulina's career began as Organizing Director at UC Santa Cruz’s Engaging Education Center, aimed at improving educational outcomes for underrepresented groups. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Education with a focus on Student Affairs and Educational Justice from Claremont Graduate University and a Bachelor of Arts in Latin American and Latino Studies and Politics from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
