Dennis Verslegers

Dennis Verslegers is an experienced information security professional currently serving as an Information Security Officer for the European Commission and as a Strategic Advisor for Application Security at Orange Cyberdefense. In addition, Dennis holds the position of Chief Information Security Officer at Vlaamse belastingdienst and is a Visiting Professor at Antwerp Management School, focusing on IT Risk and Cyber Security Management. Dennis co-founded Nexus training, which provides security training courses and awareness sessions. Previous experience includes a role as a security consultant at Siemens and ongoing PhD studies at the University of Antwerp. Dennis holds a Master of Science in IT Governance and Assurance from Antwerp Management School and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Telecommunications Engineering from Groep T - Internationale Hogeschool Leuven.
