Sergiu Placinta

Sergiu Placinta currently serves as the Director of International Operations and Head of Business Development at Orange since February 2020, focusing on developing customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, managing contracts, and budgeting for key sales indicators. Prior to this, Sergiu held various roles at Huawei Technologies from March 2008 to February 2020, including Key Account Director, Senior Account Manager, and Account Manager, where responsibilities encompassed managing P&L for business units, maximizing sales profitability, and enhancing customer experiences. Early career experience includes the role of System Administrator at Riscom Computers. Sergiu holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and Management in Telecommunication from the Technical University of Moldova.
