Jim Taylour

Jim Taylour has extensive work experience in the field of workplace design and ergonomics. Jim began their career as a Product Design Engineer at Steelcase from 1987 to 1993. Jim then worked as an Ergonomist at Back In Action - The Back Shop from 1995 to 1998. In 1998, they joined Orangebox as the Head of Design and Wellbeing, where they continue to work. Additionally, in 2007, they became an Associate Director at SIMPLIFY ERGONOMICS LIMITED. In 2016, they briefly served as a Mr at WORKTECH Academy.

Jim Taylour has an extensive education history. Jim began their academic journey in 1983 by enrolling at Nottingham Trent University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Furniture Design. Jim dedicated four years to their studies, and in 1987, they successfully completed their undergraduate program.

Following their undergraduate studies, Jim Taylour further enhanced their knowledge and skills in the field of management by attending the University of South Wales. From 1992 to 1993, they enrolled in a Post Graduate program and obtained a Certificate in Management Studies.

In 1994, Jim Taylour advanced their education by joining the University of Birmingham, where they pursued a Master's degree in Work Design and Ergonomics. Jim completed this program in 1995, expanding their expertise in the field.

In addition to their academic achievements, Jim Taylour holds various certifications that reflect their commitment to professional development. Jim obtained the designation of "Luminary" from CoreNet Global in September 2021. Furthermore, they have pursued certification as a "Chartered Ergonomist" from the Chartered Institute of Ergonomics and Human Factors, although the specific dates of obtaining this certification are not available.
