Mohamed Ashour

Mohamed Ashour has extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Starting in 2005, they worked at ExxonMobil as a Process Analyst and later as a Delivery Planner. In 2007, they joined Orascom Hotels & Development, where they held positions such as Senior Strategic Product & Marketing Manager and Real Estate Brand Manager. In 2009, they moved to Orascom Development Holding as the Group Marketing Manager - Real Estate. From 2010 to 2013, they worked at Orascom Hotels & Development again, serving as Sales Director Real Estate Egypt, Senior Director & Head Real Estate Lustica Development, and VP & Head of Real Estate Egypt. Mohamed then joined Amer Group in 2014 as the CEO of Amer Malls. From 2015 to 2019, they worked at Majid Al Futtaim as the West Region Head of Business Development. In 2019, they joined Elsewedy Industrial Development as the Chief Investment & Business Development Officer before moving to their current position at Orascom Development Egypt as the Chief Commercial & Business Development Officer in 2021.

Mohamed Ashour's education history includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from The American University in Cairo, which they obtained from 2001 to 2005. Prior to that, they completed their high school education, earning an International Baccalaureate Certificate and American Diploma from The American International School in Egypt from 1996 to 2001. Additionally, they attended Misr Language School MLS for elementary and middle school from 1987 to 1996.

In terms of executive education, Mohamed Ashour completed an Executive Education program in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies at London Business School in 2019. Mohamed also enrolled in an Executive Program in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, which is expected to take place in 2023.

In addition to their formal education, Mohamed Ashour has obtained various certifications, including Executive Education - Entrepreneurial Edge and Leadership Institute - Lead Program Certification from London Business School and Majid Al Futtaim Leadership Institute, respectively. Mohamed has also completed certifications in Financial Modeling, Shopping Center Investment, and Shopping Center Development Fundamentals in the MENA Region. These certifications were obtained from various institutions between 2014 and 2019.
