Karim Badr

Karim Badr is a seasoned professional in the fields of renewable energy, infrastructure, and finance, currently serving as the Founder of Clean Energy Solutions Ltd. since March 2024. In addition, Karim holds the position of Infrastructure Consultant at Orascom Investment Holding, focusing on renewable energy and project development across Africa and emerging markets. Previously, Karim was the CEO of the Infrastructure & Utilities Subfund at The Sovereign Fund of Egypt, where strategic projects and green investments were prioritized from May 2020 to July 2023. Karim's extensive experience also includes key roles at GE Power as Regional Capital Markets Leader, Qalaa Holdings as Vice President and Managing Director, and Barclays in debt capital markets. Educational achievements include an EMBA from Columbia Business School and London Business School, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Construction Engineering from The American University in Cairo.
