Salah Azzi

Salah Azzi has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple industries. Salah is currently working as the International Sales Director at OraSure Technologies since September 2017. Prior to this, Salah worked as an independent consultant in the life sciences, biotech, and medical device industry starting from May 2016.

From September 2011 to April 2016, Salah served as the Sales & Marketing Director at CORIS BIOCONCEPT. Prior to that, they worked as the International Sales Manager at Trinity Biotech from April 2008 to August 2011. Salah also gained valuable experience at Merck Group as an International Sales Manager from July 2001 to February 2008.

Before entering the sales field, Salah started their career as a Sales Engineer at SOLABIA in September 2000. Salah also briefly worked with the European Commission as a Junior Expert from February 1998 to July 1998. Salah worked as a Project Manager at Adebio from September 1997 to January 1998.

In the earlier stages of their career, Salah worked in research roles. Salah was an R&D Researcher at AJINOMOTO EUROLYSINE S.A.S from September 1992 to December 1996. Before that, they were an R&D Engineer at Lesaffre from September 1991 to August 1992. Overall, Salah has extensive experience in sales, marketing, and research in various sectors, making him a versatile professional.

Salah Azzi completed their Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry at USTL in 1990. Salah then pursued a Master's degree in Biochemistry at the Université Scientifique & Technique de Lille from 1990 to 1991. Following this, they obtained a Postgraduate Degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology & Bioindustry from the Université de Technologie de Compiègne (UTC) in 1992. Salah further pursued higher education and completed a Master's degree in Relations et affaires internationales at École des Hautes Études Internationales de Paris from 1999 to 2000. Finally, in 1996, Salah Azzi achieved a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology & Bioindustry from the Université de Technologie de Compiègne (UTC).
