VISHNU P R

Vishnu P R has a strong background in propulsion design and testing, with experience at Orbex as a Propulsion Design & Test Engineer starting in 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Skyroot Aerospace as a Propulsion Engineer from 2018 to 2020.

Vishnu also has research experience, having worked as a Researcher at the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology from 2020 to 2021. In this role, they focused on experimental studies and numerical modeling related to thermometry and species concentration measurements in high enthalpy flows.

Before their research position, Vishnu served as an Assistant Professor at Hindustan University from 2017 to 2018. VISHNU also gained research experience at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras from 2014 to 2017 where they worked on hybrid rocket ground testing, solid propellant mixing, and hot flow testing.

Additionally, Vishnu has prior experience as a Membership Associate at The Aeronautical Society of India from 2008 to 2014.

Vishnu P R completed their Engineer's Degree in Aerospace Propulsion from the Aeronautical Society of India between 2008 and 2014. After that, they pursued a Master's Degree in Aerospace Propulsion from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, from 2014 to 2017. Currently, Vishnu is working towards their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Laser Spectroscopy at the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology, which they started in 2020.
